The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272RKKUP-B3RK or 272RKKUPB3RK, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO designed for medium-duty applications including towing and recovery, aerial work, construction equipment, and water trucks. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air control valve included. The 272 Series is rated for continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Output power reaches 56+ HP, with shaft power of 57 HP at 1,000 RPM.
