The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 medium-duty hot shift PTO lines into a single platform. The series offers nine speed ratios, 18 shift configurations, and a choice of direct-mount or driveshaft output options. Direct-mount configurations are available with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations can include the Smart-Start option, designed for high-torque start-up conditions. The integral air control valve is included.
