The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates six previous PTO families - the 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series - into a single, more versatile platform. The 272 offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options, giving specifiers broad flexibility across a single part family. Direct-mount output configurations are available with optional Wet-Spline technology to extend PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations include the Smart-Start feature, designed to manage high-torque start-up conditions that can otherwise stress driveline components.
