The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XDAJX-P3BD or 272XDAJXP3BD, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO built for medium-duty work cycles across towing and recovery, aerial, construction, and water truck applications. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Ford, Aisin, and RAM platforms. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" keyway. Shift is pneumatic (PowerShift), with an integral air control valve included. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Output power exceeds 56 HP. The 272 Series consolidates and replaces the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Chelsea PTO series.
