The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XMAJP-P3RK or 272XMAJPP3RK, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO designed for medium-duty applications. It features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and supports both pneumatic and hydraulic (PowerShift) engagement. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Shaft power output at 1,000 RPM measures 57 HP (43 kW). Compatible transmissions span a broad range including Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM platforms.
