281GBFJW-B5RF Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GBFJW-B5RF or 281GBFJWB5RF, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly found on Allison transmissions. It mounts with a 10-bolt pattern and offers nine speed ratios covering both low and high ranges. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an 80% thicker clutch pack resists premature tooth wear. An o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and reduces vibration-related wear. The Wet Spline Lubrication option provides 7 to 10 times greater shaft life. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) and SmartStart shock-load reduction are also included in the series.
