The Chelsea 281GGFJP-B8RY or 281GGFJPB8RY is a Power Takeoff Assembly built around nine speed ratios covering both low and high speed ranges. Ductile iron bearing caps deliver 117% greater strength compared to gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration reduces vibrational effects while improving clamp load. Rotatable cast-iron flanges cut interference clearance issues, and driveline outputs include a positive stop that prevents oil seal damage from coupling. The optional wet spline lubrication path extends shaft service life by 7 to 10 times. SmartStart reduces shock load at startup for demanding applications, and the built-in Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) safeguards driven equipment from overspeed events.
