The Chelsea 281GGKVP-D5AC or 281GGKVPD5AC is a 281 Series Power Take-Off engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison applications. This hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO mounts directly to the transmission and supports continuous-duty operation. The series features a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an 80% thicker clutch pack for improved wear resistance, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load and reduce vibrational damage. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed demands. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) protects driven equipment, and the optional wet spline lubrication configuration extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times.
