281GKFJP-B3RF Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GKFJP-B3RF or 281GKFJPB3RF, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar units. The 281 Series builds on the 280 Series platform with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an enhanced clutch pack with steel discs 80% thicker than the previous design. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and the optional wet spline lubrication provides 7 to 10 times greater shaft life.
