281GPFJP-D3AC Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281GPFJP-D3AC or 281GPFJPD3AC is a hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) hot-shift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 281 Series, engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture including Allison and Caterpillar units. It delivers a continuous torque rating of 390 lb-ft (529 Nm) across nine speed ratios spanning both low and high ranges. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and resists vibrational effects from modern engine designs. The clutch pack features steel discs that are 80% thicker than the predecessor 280 Series to resist premature tooth wear. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and a positive stop on driveline outputs eliminates oil seal damage from coupling. The Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) and SmartStart are included to protect driven equipment and reduce shock loads at start-up.
