281GTFJP-B3RF Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GTFJP-B3RF or 281GTFJPB3RF, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly used on Allison transmissions. It is an evolution of the 280 Series platform, incorporating a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an 80% thicker clutch pack steel disc stack to resist premature tooth wear, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load and vibration resistance. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference fit issues, and a wet spline lubrication option provides 7 to 10 times greater shaft life compared to dry configurations.
