The Chelsea 281GTFJP-B5SV or 281GTFJPB5SV is a hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) Power Take-Off from Chelsea's 281 Series, designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. The 281 Series is an evolution of the 280 Series, featuring a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% increase in clutch pack steel disc thickness to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed applications. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) and the optional Wet Spline Lubrication package are available.
