The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282GKAJX-B3SD or 282GKAJXB3SD, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for demanding continuous-duty applications. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and select other manufacturers. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). Intermittent torque capacity runs 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm), and the continuous torque rating reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) -- verify actual rating on the Chelsea application pages for your specific installation. Shaft power output is 29 HP at 500 RPM or 57 HP at 1,000 RPM (21 kW and 43 kW respectively).
