The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XKAJX-15RZ or 282XKAJX15RZ, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for demanding vocational applications. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve built in. Intermittent torque rating runs 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm); continuous torque reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) - check application pages for actual torque ratings for your specific installation. Shaft power output is 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1000 RPM (21 kW and 43 kW respectively).
