The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off, part number 282XKAJX-A3RS or 282XKAJXA3RS, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for demanding continuous-duty applications. It features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation. The 282 Series delivers up to 300 lb-ft continuous torque and 201-300 lb-ft intermittent torque, with shaft power rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. Rotatable flanges allow flexible installation, and the optional wet-spline design extends PTO and pump shaft service life.
