The Chelsea 282 Series was developed as a redesign of the medium-duty hot shift PTO lineup, combining features from the earlier 238 Series with upgraded components. The series offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. Rotatable flanges allow flexible installation, and an integral air valve is included. An optional Wet-Spline configuration is available for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. A positive stop on driveshaft output versions helps prevent seal damage from driveshaft yokes.
