The Chelsea 282XKDAX-15XD or 282XKDAX15XD is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed to fit transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers via an 8-bolt mounting pattern. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve included. The 282 Series delivers continuous torque capabilities up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM.
