The Chelsea 282 Series PTO Assembly, part number 282XKDAX-P3RY or 282XKDAXP3RY, is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off built for demanding mobile equipment applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and is compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission manufacturers. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. The 282 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) and a continuous torque rating of 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with shaft power reaching 57 HP at 1,000 RPM.
