The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off, part number 282XMAJX-A3RS or 282XMAJXA3RS, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement. It delivers up to 300 lb-ft of continuous torque and 201-300 lb-ft intermittent torque, with shaft power rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft includes a 5/16" key. Compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission applications, this unit suits aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery work. An integral air valve and rotatable flanges are built in, and the optional Smart Start feature supports high-torque engagement. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.
