The Chelsea 282XMAJX-A5RS or 282XMAJXA5RS is a medium-duty hot shift power take-off from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for continuous-duty operation up to 300 lb-ft. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and is compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission manufacturers. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" keyway. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve built in. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM or 29 HP at 500 RPM.
