The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XMDAX-A5XD or 282XMDAXA5XD, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO built for continuous-duty applications across aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery markets. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and is compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission manufacturers. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a 5/16" key. Shaft power reaches 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Intermittent torque falls in the 201-300 lb-ft range; continuous torque is rated at 300 lb-ft (check application pages for actual torque ratings).
