The Chelsea 282XMDAX-15XD or 282XMDAX15XD is a medium-duty hot shift Power Take-Off from Chelsea's 282 Series. Built on an 8-bolt mounting pattern, this PTO is available with pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) shift actuation and features an integral air valve with rotatable flanges. The 282 Series carries intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) and delivers up to 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output shaft options within the series include a 1-1/4" round shaft with 5/16" key or a 1" round shaft with 1/4" key. Common applications for the 282 Series include aerial, construction equipment, towing and recovery, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery trucks.
