The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 288GDFJP-M3RS or 288GDFJPM3RS, is a heavy-duty 10-bolt constant mesh PTO built on the 281 Series platform. Wider gears and larger-capacity bearings deliver a single continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron predecessors, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and reduces the effects of vibration from modern engine designs. The cast iron housing features rotatable flanges to minimize interference clearance issues. Nine speed ratios cover low and high speed demands. Positive stop on driveline outputs eliminates oil seal damage from shaft couplings. A hydraulic hose is included. The 288 Series replaces Chelsea's 287 Series PTO.
