The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 288GGFJP-M3RY or 288GGFJPM3RY, is a heavy-duty 10-bolt constant mesh PTO built on the proven 281 Series platform. It carries a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, made possible by wider gears and larger-capacity bearings that support a single, continuous rating rather than separate intermittent and continuous figures. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces the vibrational effects of modern engine designs. The standard output shaft includes a positive stop for driveline outputs, eliminating oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications.
