The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off, part number 288GSFJP-M5XV or 288GSFJPM5XV, is a heavy-duty 10-bolt constant mesh PTO built for demanding continuous-duty applications including refuse, vacuum, aerial, and snow and ice equipment. Wider gears and larger-capacity bearings support a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. The standard output shaft includes a positive stop feature that eliminates oil seal damage from driveline couplings. Nine speed ratios span low and high ranges.
