The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GHITX-A3XD or 489GHITXA3XD, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The integral one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and installation time. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key, and the 489 Series is designed with tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Intermittent torque rating falls within the 201-300 lb-ft range for this series; check application pages for the actual torque rating for your specific installation.
