The Chelsea 489GHITX-A5RB or 489GHITXA5RB is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. Its one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to compatible transmissions from Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Tremec, and others, eliminating the adapter plate that is a common leak point on older designs. The 489 Series delivers an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round configuration with key. Shift is via wire/cable mechanical actuation.
