The Chelsea 489GRAHX-V3RA or 489GRAHXV3RA is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path while delivering the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft (with key), and shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
