The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XHITX-A3RA or 489XHITXA3RA, is an 8-bolt PTO built for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series runs 201-300 lb-ft.
