The Chelsea 489XWAHX-A3RA or 489XWAHXA3RA is an 8-bolt power take-off assembly from the Parker Chelsea 489 Series, designed for manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec platforms. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with key. The 489 Series carries the same intermittent torque rating as the 442 Series and uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
