The Chelsea 489 Series PTO Assembly, part number 489XRAHX-A3RF or 489XRAHXA3RF, is an 8-bolt unit designed to mount directly to manual transmissions from Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible manufacturers without an adapter plate, which removes a potential leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, rated at 250 lb-ft. The wire/cable mechanical shift configuration suits a wide range of vocational applications. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft (with key), and shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load capacity.
