The Chelsea 823 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 823XMAHX-A4XV or 823XMAHXA4XV, is Chelsea's extra heavy-duty PTO built for high-torque applications including oil field, logging, pumper/cleaner trucks, and mining. It mounts via an 8-bolt aperture and fits automatic and manual transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. The lever/mechanical shift design pairs with a 1-1/2" 10-tooth spline output shaft and a 1410 Series companion flange. Intermittent torque rating reaches 500 lb-ft (678 Nm). Shaft power measures 48 HP at 500 RPM and 95 HP at 1000 RPM. The cast iron housing features tapered cone bearings on the output shaft for greater load-bearing capability.
