The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XDFJP-D5AB or 871XDFJPD5AB, is a 10-bolt, hydraulic PowerShift PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty applications. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give installers a wide range of configurations for fire and rescue, refuse, pumper-cleaner, and truck crane work. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration-related damage. The compact housing minimizes clearance problems. Optional Wet Spline pump flange, Quiet Gear input, SmartStart shock-load reduction, and Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) round out the feature set.
