The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XDFJW-B5RS or 871XDFJWB5RS, is a 10-bolt hydraulic PowerShift PTO designed for Allison transmissions. It carries a continuous torque rating of up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty applications. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give technicians broad flexibility across fire and rescue, refuse, truck crane, and pumper/cleaner installations. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration-related wear. Optional Wet Spline pump flange, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear configurations are available within the 871 Series. The 871 Series replaces the earlier Chelsea 870 Series PTO.
