The Chelsea 878XAFJP-M5RF or 878XAFJPM5RF is a constant mesh Power Take-Off from Chelsea's 878 Series, designed to mount on Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series delivers up to 670 lb-ft continuous torque, the highest torque capability in its package size in the series. This PTO uses a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to reduce vibrational effects and improve clamp load. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed demands. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and driveline outputs feature a positive stop to eliminate oil seal damage from coupling.
