The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XAFJP-M5RZ or 878XAFJPM5RZ, is a constant mesh PTO engineered for Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series improves on the earlier 877 Series design with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and rotatable cast iron flanges that reduce interference issues. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. Driveline outputs include a positive stop feature that eliminates oil seal damage from coupling.
