The Chelsea 878XAFJP-M5XV or 878XAFJPM5XV is a ten-bolt PTO assembly from the 878 Series, built around a cast iron constant-mesh housing. Ductile iron bearing caps deliver 117% greater strength than gray iron caps. An O-ring sealing configuration reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load over older designs. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed demands in a single continuous-duty torque rating. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and the positive-stop driveline output eliminates oil seal damage from coupling contact.
