The Chelsea 878XBFJW-M5RY or 878XBFJWM5RY is a constant mesh Power Take-Off Assembly from the Chelsea 878 Series, designed for Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series delivers up to 670 lb-ft torque in both intermittent and continuous use, making it one of the highest-rated PTOs in its mounting class. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration-related damage. Rotatable cast-iron flanges cut interference clearance issues, and the Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times. Nine speed ratios cover low and high speed ranges.
