The Chelsea 878XDFJP-M3XV or 878XDFJPM3XV is a constant mesh Power Take-Off Assembly engineered for Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series improves on the proven 877 Series design with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load and vibration resistance. Rotatable, cast-iron flanges reduce clearance and interference issues, while the Positive Stop feature on driveline outputs eliminates oil seal damage from coupling. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications, and a Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life 7 to 10 times over standard configurations. A hydraulic hose is included.
