The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off, part number 878XDFJP-M5AC or 878XDFJPM5AC, is a constant mesh PTO engineered to mount on Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series builds on the 877 Series platform with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load and resist vibration, and clutch pack steel discs increased in thickness by 80%. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. The series delivers a continuous torque rating of up to 670 lb-ft. A Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft service life by 7 to 10 times compared to standard lubrication. A hydraulic hose is included.
