The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off, part number 878XDFJP-M5RF or 878XDFJPM5RF, is a constant mesh PTO engineered for Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series builds on the proven 877 Series design with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and steel clutch disc thickness increased by 80% to resist vibrational damage from modern engine designs. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications, and the rotatable cast iron flanges reduce interference fit issues.
