The Muncie CS40-A1012-J12X or CS40A1012J12X is a 10-bolt heavy-duty clutch shift Power Take-Off from the CS40/41 Series, designed to deliver maximum output from Allison 3000 and 4000 series and Caterpillar CX transmissions. Precision ground gears keep operation quiet while handling demanding torque loads, and oversized bearings extend service life under continuous-duty conditions. The unit ships with standard pressure lubrication built in. Direct mount flanges are rotatable, so the pump can be repositioned for clearance in tight installations. Two assembly arrangements let you mount the PTO shaft high or low on either side of the transmission. SAE "C" and DIN 5462 direct mount options cover most high-power-input pump configurations, and a 1410 series remote mount output shaft supports remote pump drive setups.
