The Muncie CS8B-U6005-A1CX or CS8BU6005A1CX is a CS8 Series 8-bolt clutch shift power take-off built for direct and remote pump applications on a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. The unit offers SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pump flanges, and those flanges rotate to maximize clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types, giving flexibility for remote pump drives. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device shaft-speed monitoring.
