The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8D-S6809-A1BX or CS8DS6809A1BX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges meet SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the flanges are fully rotatable to allow maximum pump clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shaft options - keyed and flange types - provide flexibility for remote pump drives. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator is available for System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
