The Muncie CS8 Series power take-off CS8D-S6809-E3KX or CS8DS6809E3KX is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges accept SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 patterns, and the flanges rotate so the pump can be positioned for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive applications. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
