The Muncie CS8D-S6809-A1GX (also referenced as CS8DS6809A1GX) is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift engagement. It is engineered to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series, using 19 transmission input gear options. Direct mount pump flanges are available in SAE "A", "B", and "BB" configurations as well as DIN 5462, and the flanges rotate to allow pump positioning for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options cover keyed and flange types for remote pump drives. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position, and an optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
