The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8D-S6809-A3KX or CS8DS6809A3KX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to mate with a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. The unit accommodates 19 transmission input gears and offers three remote mount output shaft options in keyed and flange types for remote pump drives. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the flanges are rotatable to maximize clearance. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator is available for System Protection Device shaft-speed monitoring.
