The Muncie CS8 Series power take-off CS8D-S6809-E1CX or CS8DS6809E1CX is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000 and 2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges accommodate SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump pads; flanges are rotatable to position the pump for maximum clearance in tight engine compartments. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for versatility with remote pump drives. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
