The Muncie CS8 Series power take-off, part number CS8S-M6509-A1KX or CS8SM6509A1KX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed for compatibility across a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" and DIN 5462 standards, and all direct mount flanges are rotatable to allow maximum clearance for pump positioning. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types for flexible pump drive configurations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the unit is in the off position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device shaft speed monitoring.
