The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6004-A1QX or CS8SU6004A1QX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO built for direct mount pump applications on a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount flanges are rotatable for pump clearance positioning and accept SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump pads. Three remote mount output shaft options cover keyed and flange configurations for versatility in pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
